🎙️ Episode Title: Alexandra – In Loving Memory
🕊️ Alexandra Rose: February 28, 1981 – April 19, 2020

This episode is the most personal podcast I’ve ever recorded.
I released it exactly one year after the death of my wife, Alexandra.

Sharing this story was—and still is—an incredibly difficult act. But I believe in truth. I believe in honoring those we’ve lost by telling their stories with clarity, dignity, and love.

In this episode, I open up about the heartbreaking events that led to Alexandra’s passing. The final two years of her life were marked by unimaginable suffering—more than I’ve ever seen another human endure.

Alexandra lived with a constellation of severe mental and physical health challenges:
She was suicidal. She struggled with multiple regulation disorders, an eating disorder, autism, borderline personality disorder, hoarding, severe depression, and anxiety. She experienced psychosis, panic attacks, dangerously high blood pressure, strokes, ADHD, OCD, and gender dysphoria.

Most devastating of all—she never fully recovered from a violent assault by an online predator she met on a date. That trauma fractured something deep within her. Despite our efforts to get her help, the system failed her again and again.

She was beautiful, brilliant, creative, and sensitive. She deserved peace, not pain.
This episode is for her—and for anyone who has lived in the shadow of trauma, struggling to be seen, to be heard, or to be healed.

Thank you for listening.
If you or someone you know is suffering, please reach out. You are not alone.
