Sappers Paratroopers in Chasov Yar, DPR, Daily Destroy NATO-Made Mines and Ammunition

The Russian Ministry of Defense has released footage showcasing the combat operations of engineering and sapper units from the Airborne Troops, who are actively clearing the territory around Chasov Yar in the Donetsk People's Republic.

Daily, the engineering and sapper teams of the Ivanovo Airborne Forces conduct meticulous demining efforts in the recently liberated areas of Chasov Yar. Under constant threat from mortar and artillery fire, Kostroma sapper paratroopers carefully inspect city streets and buildings for explosive devices, including mines and unexploded ordnance.

An engineering reconnaissance team meticulously scans the area with mine detectors and probes, uncovering anti-personnel mines and unexploded shells, as well as enemy FPV drones that have been neutralized by electronic warfare systems. When an explosive device is located, the team leader employs a surface-mounted charge to safely destroy the detected ordnance.

By eliminating these hazards, Kostroma sapper paratroopers make it safer for personnel and supply equipment to traverse the roads in the region, facilitating logistical operations and enhancing overall operational safety.
