New initiative to combat fentanyl crisis

The Maryland U.S. Attorney’s Office announced a new initiative designed to combat the growing fentanyl overdose crisis. According to statistics for 2018, there are projected to be more than 2,000 fentanyl deaths statewide, and in Baltimore alone there are projected to be at least twice as many fatal fentanyl overdoses as homicides.
