Wednesday, June 18, our friend NeAnne Clinton from Garfied County Conservation Coalition will be with us to update us on the giant solar installation brewing in her backyard.

NeAnne will also update us on the lawsuit Garfield County residents have had to file against their own government to follow their own zoning laws - laws which would help protect residents against NextEra's solar development.

Why are residents having to sue their government to get their government to do the right thing?

She'll also talk a bit about Wagner County, who just recently prevented a solar installation from setting up shop in their county! Our legislature has certainly been a disappointment in protecting residents from solar installations, but apparently, citizens can do it for themselves. NeAnne will tell us how!
