Khalistanis hold rally in Calgary to protest PM Modi's presence at G7 Summit

A rally held by a Canadian Khalistani group called Sikhs for Justice held a rally in Calgary protesting Indian PM Narendra Modi's presence at the G7 Summit. The Khalistanis are an Indian separatist group that took hold in Canada over the past several decades due to political instability in India

The protest called for an "ambush" of Modi, calling him a "Hindu terrorist" as well as open calls for violence against him. Khalistani extremism has been increasing recently with violence breaking out between Khalistanis and Hindus on Canadian soil.
