The Phillips' family has been through many life threatening health scare with her father, Dr. Gary Phillips, who has an autoimmune disease which causes his platelet count to be very low, and in extreme cases.l. At times, life threateningly low! Dr. Gary has been to the emergency room close to 90 times with scary, critical visits.
