IDF forces are operating in the village of Jabaliya, Gaza

IDF Spokesperson:

For the first time since the start of the ground maneuver, IDF forces are operating in the village of Jabaliya — with footage now released from the 162nd Division’s operations.

As part of the expanded fighting under Operation “Gideon’s Chariots”, and for the first time since the ground phase began, forces from the 162nd Division recently began encircling the village of Jabaliya to locate and destroy terror infrastructure both above and below ground.

Under the command of the 162nd Division, the 401st Brigade Combat Team has been working to dismantle terror assets throughout the area — including rocket launchers, tunnel shafts, and other infrastructure — while eliminating numerous terrorists.

Givati Brigade combat teams also located large caches of weapons, destroyed underground networks, and killed dozens of terrorists.

During the operation, Givati forces identified a group of terrorists approaching from the direction of the village. They coordinated an airstrike by the IAF, which successfully eliminated the cell.
