Tom Homan on Holding Raids at Certain Work Sites: We Are Prioritizing Sites with Forced Labor, Sex Trafficking

>> Border czar Tom homan is spear heading the crackdown and he is with us now. Tom, I want to play a bite from Illinois governor J.B. Pritzker. Here’s what he is saying.
>> I think what he has done in California has really hurt him politically and so I don’t think it he will do itner its place, I I don’t know that ice is coming once again and forced to know that he has used other law enforcement along with ice to carry out his ill conceived mission to go after people who frankly are paying taxes and they are law abiding and they have been here for many, many years.
>> Kayleigh: governor Newsom, he is they had is a plan to incite chaos in blue cities. Is that the plan, Tom?
>> No, it’s not. Governor pritzker is just wrong. First of all, they are not law abiding, they entered the country illegally which is crime. Many don’t pay taxes it’s paid under the table. To say law abide something just wrong. What President Trump is doing. I have said for two months sanctuary cities how we deal with them. Flood the zone. If we can’t arrest the bad guy in the jail safety and security of the jail. Safer for the officer and alien and certainly safer for the community. We are going to flood the zone. Send many more officers in the community to find the bad guy. If we can’t find him in the community, they are going to flood the zone on work sites. Sanctuary city is going to get exactly what they don’t want. More officers in the neighborhoods, more officers on worksite to find the bad guy. The thing is when we find the bad guy, the criminal theft, the public safety threat many times they are with others. Others may not be a criminal threat in the country illegally. Walk away from elm. This ice uphold. They will criminals. Sanctuary cities what’s the result? More agents in your neighborhoods, more collateral arrests. More noncriminal arrests because you forced us in that position. What President Trump is trying to do and governor pritzker’s state is remove public safety threats from his community. Which is his number one responsibility. If he wants to turn a blind eye to illegal alien public safety threats, President Trump will not do it. President Trump is going to keep his promise to the American people to make America safe again.
>> Kayleigh: on the notion of work sites, “New York Times” mentioned there was an email that went out to DHS saying effective today please hold on all worksite enforcement, investigations, agriculture and meat packing, the Department of Homeland Security confirmed the guidance Tricia McLaughlin saying we will follow the president’s direction. Is that the new guidance this hour that we will not see these workplace raids, if you will?
>> Look, like everything else, the president is prioritizing public safety threats and national security threats. When it comes to work sites, we prioritize those operation too. Many places targets the worksite enforcement operations it has to do with forced labor trafficking. Sex trafficking, and criminal investigations where they are funding – they are not paying taxes, tax evasion or funding cartel activity. So we prioritize worksite investigation. Worksite investigation are going nowhere. We will prioritize them like everything else. Worksite enforcement operations it’s a foreign what we’re doing and we will continue those.
>> Kayleigh: you know, Tom, I wanted to ask about the morale of ice agents. I have given a lot of thought to the doxxing going on. Pictures put up in L.A. of some of these ice agents without the contact information for them. I just think I have kids, too. I have a third on the way. I can’t imagine if my dad’s face was on a poster and called all sorts of things and. What’s morale of ice now?
>> Morale is high. Agents are used to be being attacked. Strange world when those who enforce the law bad guys and. We get doxxed. You attack an ice officer. You are tacking 20,000 of them because the camaraderie in ice is. Retriple down. Keep standing up and doing the job. Working for the greatest president of my lifetime success on the border. Most secure border in the history of the nation today. Criminal threats, illegal alien criminal threats arrested and deported record high. Much higher than Joe Biden. So the men and women of ice are doing the job. They took an oath to do this job. They loved doing this job. And they are going to keep doing this job. No one is going to scare them away. No one is going to bully them from doing their job. Minute and women of ice stand up every day and hit the street. Thousand teams all across the country operating today. Operating yesterday. Operating tomorrow. We’re going to keep doing our job. The protests you can protest all you want. You can do all the violence you want. Ice will be back out there again tomorrow morning.
