Lama Dawa Zangpo’s Commentary:
A mirror reflects things accurately. It looks very much like what the object is, and yet what's in there? There's nothing actually in the mirror. It's a reflection, and in the same way, all things, when looked at with a mind of wisdom, we see things appear. They can be bright, they can be very clear to our senses, and yet, when we penetrate deeply, everything can be broken down into smaller parts, and ultimately there's nothing left. There's nothing. There was nothing there in the beginning except a combination of parts, and each part can be broken down and said to be a combination of smaller parts. Ultimately, there's nobody home. There's nothing that we can find. This is another way of talking about emptiness of apparent phenomena.
