Man shot dead after repeatedly ramming two police cars

The incident began around 5 p.m. when police responded to a disturbance involving McGonegal, who first rammed a black car in the drive-thru before moving to the parking lot, where he rammed police cars twice, leading officers to open fire after 20 minutes of attempted de-escalation.

McGonegal, who had a criminal history dating back to 1972 across multiple states, was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital
