Magnificent Great Dane does tricks for cookies in her favorite hotel

I would like to introduce you to my beautiful 6 year old Great Dane Magna; she is a Gemini, and enjoys running, playing fetch, long walks, playing tug-o-war, and is something of a fashionista because she can alter clothing. She is very sweet, fun-loving, playful and intelligent. She is so intelligent, in fact, that if you want her to do something and she does not want to, she will pretend to not understand.

You can see that she is obviously extremely beautiful, and she has a taste for luxury hotels, various fine foods and will usually indulge herself. She loves certain kinds of cookies, particularly organic peanut butter cookies and maple cookies, which is what she will be eating. She knows that even as the Queen of the Universe, she must earn them, so she will sometimes try to earn them when you ask her to do things such as shake a paw; touch the muzzle to something, high five, sit, or other little tricks to earn those tasty cookies. If I do not ask her to perform a trick, she will sometimes take the initiative to offer a trick to me, which at the very least shows a good work ethic.

In this particular case, we are at Magna's favorite hotel, the Hilton Hotel in Richmond. How do I know this is Magna's favorite hotel? Magna and I have been to other hotels, but this was the only hotel in which she has given me a strong indication that she wants us to be here. I would drive into the parking area and get our things, and she would be right beside me. When I turn to go out the door of our van, Magna would always use the top of her head to push into my upper back to hurry me along. When we got out of the van, she would make sure we did not walk, nor jog, nor run, but sprint at break-neck speed to the hotel lobby to make sure that we did not miss a moment! We could not miss a moment!!

Mind you I was the one who would always have to run with two or three bags flailing in the air at a rate of speed I could not normally run but I am at the end of her leash as she has me in tow. This is one very playful princess. She likes her snacks between meals and enjoys relaxing between playing or running around.

In this particular video, you will see my beautiful, mighty Magna showing the more refined side of herself as she takes the cookies and eats them like a real lady would! Her best gal pal, Stanzi, a Golden Lab would viciously snatch a treat out of your hand as if it would escape, but not my mighty Magna. She shows a very soft side of herself while spending quality time with you.
