10-year-old John Harris interviews 80-year-old Wayne Garren.

My 4 grandsons visited Wayne and Dewena Garren on Monday, June 16. My youngest grandson, 10-year-old John Harris, wrote down a few questions (on his own) to have a personal interview with 80-year-old Wayne Garren while we were at their home.

Wayne Garren is the current Hoopers Creek Precinct GOP Vice Chair. He was the Hoopers Creek Precinct GOP Chair for many years before I became the current Hoopers Creek Precinct GOP Chair 2 years ago.

Wayne Garren’s wife, Dewena is my first cousin. Over the years, she has graciously provided a beautiful luncheon for the 4 boys each time they come to visit here in the mountains. Wayne Garren has been a special role model with a vast amount of knowledge for my grandsons each time they visit.

When my 10-year-old grandson asked if he could interview Wayne, I thought this would be a wonderful opportunity to make a memory video that will last for future generations.
