My father in the faith, Brother Greg used to say, "A god is whatever you turn to in your hour of need – whatever you draw your strength and substance from. That is your god." When you believe in something or someone, you turn to it. Biblically, believing in The Lord is turning to The Lord. Turning to The Lord is attending to His Word, because believing in God is inseparable from believing in His Word. God'sWord tells us what and how to believe.
