The Last Lie | Phillip Altman and Raphael Lataster

Dr Raphael Lataster holds a PhD from the University of Sydney, and occasionally lectures there and at other institutions. His main academic research interests include misinformation, disinformation, and fake news, in Health and Politics.

Dr Lataster has a Bachelor of Pharmacy, a Masters of Applied Finance, and several postgraduate research degrees in the Arts. Initially focussing his academic efforts around misinformation in Religion, Philosophy, History, and Science, he has shifted focus to misinformation in Politics and Health, particularly around COVID-19.

He currently runs Okay Then News, which highlights counter-narrative journal articles and news pieces from mainstream sources.

His current article “Metacritique of Influential Studies Purporting COVID-19 Vaccine Successes: Part 1 - Watson et al” is ground breaking and published in a peer reviewed medical journal. That Watson et al paper, which was published in the Lancet, had claimed that 14.4 million lives were saved by Covid19 vaccines in the first year.
This is the final piece in the puzzle – the Last Lie – wrto the Covid vaccines.

Dr Phillip Altman is a well known authority on clinical trials and regulatory affairs with more than 40 years experience in designing managing and reporting on clinical trials from stage 1-stage 4. He has worked with the TGA in order to gain new drug approvals. So, Dr Altman is no stranger to procedures.

Dr Altman ran as an independent candidate recently in the NSW election and currently has an amazing substack.

This was a live presentation, called “The Last Lie” at the Good Knights event in Sydney.

In this episode we discuss the following:

- Dr Altman started the presentation reviewing all the lies we have been told over the last 5 years by our Government, Health bureaucrats and the TGA. He listed 22 lies, ranging from the origin of the virus, to where the vaccine goes in the body. But he highlighted there was one big lie that still lingers, which is repeated over and over, in an attempt to justify the deaths and serious injuries caused by the Covid vaccines.

- Dr Lataster tells us that “The Last Lie” is that the Covid Vaccine saved many millions of lives in its first year. The paper that claims that the lives were saved, is the Watson et al paper. See reference below.

- He has produced a critique of the Watson et al paper, debunking it. It has just been published in a peer reviewed journal. See reference below. The US FDA has publicly acknowledged receipt of this critique, it is published on their website. In addition, Senator Ron Johnson has entered it into the official record of the Senate in the US.
- The first problem with the Watson et al paper, is that it is a modelling study. It is not based on the raw figures. Models are not reality and subject to the garbage in and garbage out problem. And they don’t even bother with safety. They didn’t look at it.

- This study was used by governments for justifications for mandates. But it assumes that the effectiveness is static, which it pulled from another study. It just assumes that that figure never goes down. But even the mainstream admits it’s gone within months, for death and infection. Why else do they insist on boosters.

- But one of the most significant elements of Dr Lataster’s critique is the financial and political conflicts of interest. There are links to Big Pharma, including the vaccine manufacturers. Links to GAVI, the WHO, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. And every single author works for the group headed by Professor Lockdown, Neil Ferguson. He is not listed on the paper but he is the leader.
That’s a political conflict of interest. The lockdowns led to vaccine mandates.

- Dr Altman tells us it was against the law in Australia to claim any therapeutic agent was safe, till Mid 2021. The Head of the TGA changed it, for one agent, the Covid vaccines.
