ANDY'S ANTICS: City of Rochester / 25B *AND* DFL Rep. Dandy Andy Smith NEED MORE OF YOUR MONEY. PROPERTY TAXES TO GO UP AGAIN. I hate to say I told you so... but... Also, I went to Schoolboard ISD535 and spoke about the tax referendum, and I spoke at the Truth in Taxation Meetings and called for an auditing on several levels including the generous CAIRES ACT monies. I spoke at City Council meetings against tax increases and I questioned where our money was being frivilously spent... I asked for an accounting of monies distributed to "Tax-Exempt Non-Profits", which actually work to support political candidates. I spoke against raising and extending our sales taxes... amso spoke against giving tax money to political allies of politicians sitting. Sometimes my recordings of these meetings are the only ones which exist due to the City suffering more "Technical Difficulries". Sometimes I was the only non-government person in the room at "Study Sessions" presented by City Administrator Allison Zelms and Assistant City Administrator Aaron Parrish, and I recorded them explaining why all of our taxes need to go up over and over again. I went to County Commissioners' meetings and did the same. I filmed and recorded for the record the Olmsted County Administrator Heidi Welsh (Highest Paid Government Employee) explain why she needs more money. I listened to Commioner ___ explain that she wants for money for the government employees. I WAS THE ONLY NON-GOVERNMENT PERSON IN THE ROOM. Before they voted to raise your taxes, I raised my hand and ask: "Will there be any Public Comment Time?" COMMISIONER MARK THEIN SHOUTED: "NO!" I have the recordings posted online you can watch for yourselves. None of this was ever reported fairly by the Legacy Media. NOW THEY WANT A 10.5% PROPERTY TAX INCREASE AGAIN!!!!
