With the formation of President Trump's new Religious Liberty Commission - the first meeting of which was held today - pressure is mounting for the administration to restore religious exemptions to mandatory school vaccinations in states where they no longer exist (currently, CA, NY, CT, and ME). Will the Trump administration try to force states to honor religious exemptions? Will it succeed? Is this a good idea to begin with, or could it backfire horribly?
