On June 15, 2025 Iran launched missiles at various targets throughout Israel, including areas near Haifa and Tel Aviv, resulting in the deaths of at least 10 individuals, as reported by medics and media outlets.
These attacks followed Israeli airstrikes on civilian and energy infrastructure in Iran, which caused a fire at the Shahran oil facility in Tehran. The Israeli military stated that it aimed at locations "connected to the Iranian regime’s nuclear weapons program."
