Former Covington Catholic player Jake Walter charged with rape, sodomy

Prosecutors read details of the violent assault, many of which were too graphic to air, at Walter's arraignment Wednesday morning. According to police, the 7-foot, 300-pound former basketball player repeatedly attacked the same victim and laughed when she said she was afraid. His father, former Bengal Joe Walter, was visibly distressed in the courtroom.
