On June 13, 2025, the Middle East witnessed a significant escalation as Israel launched a large-scale preemptive strike on Iran, targeting key nuclear facilities and military infrastructure in Operation Rising Lion. This unprecedented military action, involving over 200 aircraft and coordinated sabotage by Israeli intelligence agency Mossad, aimed to neutralize Iran's nuclear capabilities and missile production sites. In response, Iran initiated Operation True Promise III, launching over 150 ballistic missiles and more than 100 drones toward Israel, marking one of the most intense retaliatory actions in recent history. The strikes targeted civilian areas, including Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Beersheba, resulting in significant casualties and damage.
