The SS Ourang Medan: In 1948, the Dutch freighter SS Ourang Medan sent out a distress signal in morse code stating "All officers including the captain are dead, lying in the chartroom and bridge. Possibly whole crew dead." When rescuers arrived, they found a dead crew and no signs of struggle or injuries. Shortly after, the ship mysteriously caught fire and sank.
