The Sound of None

No echo in the air,
No footstep on the floor.
Just the space where sound should be,
And I don’t need much more.

The sound of none — it wraps me tight,
No melody, no blinding light.
No voice to chase, no word to say,
Just silence here to stay.

No humming wire, no distant bell,
No rising swell, no wishing well.
Just emptiness, a soft refrain,
That sings without a name.

The sound of none — it's all I hear,
So close, so still, so strangely near.
No rhythm left to run or hide,
Just silence on my side.

No noise to break, no tone to tune,
Just stars asleep beside the moon.
And in this hush, I start to see
What silence says to me.

The sound of none — and yet it speaks,
In shadows slow and timeless peaks.
No music made, no battles won —
Just peace...
