Season 3 Episode 92: The World That Then Existed Perished, Being Flooded With Water

Originally aired 6/15/25. I just got back from a glorious week in Yosemite, a wonderful testament to God’s spectacular Creation. It also testifies to cataclysmic volcanic and tectonic activity and rapid mountain building associated with the Global Flood, which was followed by the ICE AGE Glacial period that can ONLY BE EXPLAINED by the Flood conditions, which we will discuss later.

Yesterday, we quickly read through the Genesis 7 Flood account to set up our discussion of the EXTENSIVE GEOLOGICAL and FOSSIL EVIDENCE that bears witness to this Global Flood. It really is unmistakable, and the more you see it, the more you laugh at the so-called “scientific explanation” that life evolved, and that the BIBLICAL FLOOD is the fairy tale.

And so this event was a great geological upheaval. It did not just RAIN for forty days and nights. Psalm 104 explains how God ended the flood by causing the mountains to rapidly uplift, causing the water to drain into the ocean basins, and we’ll see that there is a lot of evidence for this geologically.

We have a lot to discuss on this section of the accounts, and so please come each weekend for the next few weeks as we details the geological and fossil evidence that DEMONSTRATES the veracity of the Biblical account. And so today we’ll review how those who reject God as the Creator have rationalized their “scientific” alternative.

Evolutionary researchers have told the same tale, made popular by Darwin, that their theory is backed by Fossil record that PROVES the evolution of life, the rise of new species over millions of years, through the mechanism of genetic mutation and natural selection, growing from the first unknown “simple” single-celled life to emerge through the one and only occurrence of chemical ABIOGENESIS (life self-assembling from non-life).

They claim that the fossils confirm this rise of speciation, gradually adding more complex features over hundreds of millions of years, and that fossils PROVE this great transformation through geologic eras of NEW species arising, and over time going extinct in the long march from archaic forms toward modern living animals.

However, this is not the evidence that fossils reveal, as we will discuss today.
