Meet Tony & Cherie Rathman — The Husband & Wife Team Behind Entity Voices Paranormal Investigations (EVPI)

For over 15 years, Tony and Cherie Rathman have dedicated themselves to the world of paranormal investigation and spirit communication. Together, they’ve investigated hundreds of haunted and historic locations across the United States and overseas, including Japan, the Philippines, and more.

🔹 Tony Rathman
Founder and Lead Investigator of EVPI, Tony holds a BA in Philosophy and is a respected researcher in the field of ITC (Instrumental Transcommunication). Once a skeptic, he was drawn into the paranormal after a single investigation with Cherie changed his life. Since then, Tony has become a pioneer in spirit communication technology — developing tools like the EVOX and EVOX 2.0 spirit boxes, and most recently, Staticom 3.0 — a revolutionary method of two-way communication using broadband white noise.

Staticom is inspired by the foundational work of Fredrich Jurgenson and Marcello Bacci and has redefined the way spirit voices are received — replacing traditional radio elements with direct white noise to achieve clearer, longer, and more understandable responses.

🎙️ He’s also the creator, producer, and co-host of the multi-year running podcast Entity Voices Paranormal Evidence on the Un-X Network, where the best paranormal evidence from around the world is shared and discussed.

🔹 Cherie Rathman
Co-founder and investigator with EVPI, Cherie specializes in EVP and ITC, favoring tools like Staticom, photographs, and digital audio recorders. Her connection to the paranormal runs deep — raised in a haunted home in the Philippines, she grew up surrounded by spirit activity and traditional ghost stories passed down through her family. This background fuels her passion and expertise in spirit communication.

Together, Tony and Cherie operated the Old Phelps Dodge Hospital (Copper Canyon Paranormal Research Center) until 2021, hosting overnight investigations for researchers across the country.

Their mission is clear:
To seek the truth about paranormal phenomena, document real evidence of the afterlife, and share their discoveries with the world to educate, inspire, and ease fear of the unknown.
