Wolff Guiderod/Spring Fails

I do like the fact that I can up/down how hard my Glock slides slam around by just swapping out some springs and their accompanying guiderods from Wolff. I have always been pleased with their products, and they have a pretty great offering for gun springs beyond semi-auto pistols. As I transitioned to revolvers, Wolff was there for me by offering their main springs in different tensions, and trigger rebound springs, too. That's why it's hard to announce that my Glock 27 Gen3 with a Wolff guiderod/spring has fatigued. I didn't do anything beyond the pale with this Glock: with this particular setup, have only about two-hundred rounds though it if I had to guess. The head of the guiderod -- where the head rests on the barrel lug -- just fell out of my slide and onto my workbench when I removed my slide today. The fatigue/sheering was pretty clear-cut: seems like everyone should check their setup from time-to-time if you use the Wolff aftermarket guiderod/springs. Wouldn't want that to be a failure point in case you need to use your firearm to defend your life.
