Voice of the Whistler (1945)

The fourth entry in The Whistler mystery film series. It centers on a dying millionaire who, out of loneliness and a sense of guilt, marries a kind nurse to ensure she’s provided for after his death. Miraculously, his health improves—but the change in circumstances brings tension, suspicion, and a growing sense of dread.
