Saturday morning, June 14, 2025 - Sen. #JohnHoffman & Rep. #MelissaHortman and their spouses were shot. Two died. They are are all #Democrats. The shootings happened in #Champlin and #BrooklynPark. A shelter-in-place alert was sent out at 5:30 a.m. Saturday morning by the Brooklyn Park Police Department after multiple shootings. A suspect in the shooting may be impersonating law enforcement and should not be approached. The shelter-in-place alert is for the 3-mile radius around the #EdinburghGolfCourse. He had a police car with a manifest in the car with a list of other targets. He was in a shoot-out with police and escaped on foot. Police always travel in pairs, so if ONE officer approaches your door, call 911.
