As usual, Evelyn will break it down for us in layman terms and give insights on what could transpire.

In June, we could see greater conflict as regional tensions rise, devaluation of currencies and shortage of supply of critical minerals will spark a rush into commodities, fear of stagflation increases as global long term bond yields surge, resulting in volatility not he stock market while we will hear more news of a potential reset in the global financial system.

For the month of May, we got it right in our forecast that Trump's tariffs will cause undue stress to small and medium sized business due to shock in the supply chain, US inflation will remain stubbornly above 2%, the rally in the US stock market will roll over due to the threat of stagflation while China's economy will remain buoyant, with strong growth in the demand for electronics and EVs and that US and China will make little steps of progress with the regard to the tariffs. We also predicted that the price of gold would be volatile in May.
