Manteca Police Shoot Man After Vehicle Ramming at In-N-Out

On April 30, 2025, around 5:05 PM, Manteca Police officers were dispatched to an In-N-Out Burger on East Yosemite Avenue following reports of a disturbance by 69-year-old Charles McGonegal II in the drive-thru. The incident escalated in the parking lot, resulting in a fatal officer-involved shooting after McGonegal rammed a police patrol vehicle.
