A Florida sheriff has issued a chilling warning ahead of nationwide anti-Trump protests scheduled for this weekend.

Sheriff Wayne Ivey said anyone who attacks law enforcement could be hospitalised, jailed, or killed.

“We will kill you, graveyard dead,” he said, warning families would be told where to collect the remains.

Protesters who block cars could be run over and dragged across the street, he added.

He also threatened rioters with dog bites and harsh consequences for throwing objects or wielding weapons.

His remarks come ahead of planned “No Kings” rallies and Trump’s military birthday parade.

In Los Angeles, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem defended mass deportations at a press conference.

Democratic Senator Alex Padilla tried to confront her, but was handcuffed and removed by federal agents.

The incident drew backlash from Democrats, who called it an assault on free speech.

The unrest follows Trump’s controversial decision to deploy troops to Los Angeles to combat civil unrest despite local opposition.
