🔊📘 Space Ants 9: Catch A Star

The 9th part of a short story series about the plucky creatures we find under our feet. But imagined as a convergently evolved alien species living in the rings of some distant gas giant. I have always been fascinated by ants and my children love to watch them go about their industry. The children inspired me to write this story, though I would not say it is a kid's story. Other influences were the r/HFY themes on reddit. This is like r/HFY for ants.
