The Reality of Spiritual Warfare in Our Nations | Standing On The Promises
Today, I want to take you on a journey—a journey of faith, hope, and a deeper connection with God. Even as chaos swirls around us, we stand firm on His promises. We bless Israel, we bind the lies, and we put on the full armor of God. But beyond all that, I want to share with you the profound difference between simply praying and truly communing with God at the altar of prayer. This is a message born from my heart, from seasons of struggle, victory, and intimate encounters with the Lord.
Standing with Israel: A Declaration of Faith
First and foremost, I want us to stand together with Israel. This land is sacred—promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob since the foundations of the earth. God has sworn to protect her, to put a hedge around her, and to bless those who bless her. So today, we stand with Israel. We bless her. We bind the lying mouths of the media that spew propaganda and untruths about her.
Remember, God’s promises never fail. Even when the evidence around us points to chaos and uncertainty, we stand on His word. He is not a man who changes His mind. He will not go back on His promises. And sometimes, the fulfillment of His promises looks different than we expect—it often shows up better than we imagined, even if we have to wait for it.
This is a word for each of us today: Stand firm, no matter what the present circumstances say. God is faithful. His promises will come to pass.
Binding the Spirit of Deception and Darkness
In this time, we are battling more than flesh and blood. We fight against spiritual rulers, powers of darkness, and evil spirits in heavenly places. The enemies we see manifesting are merely the visible tip of a much larger spiritual battle. We must put on the full armor of God—belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, and feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
We bind the spirits of Hamas, the prince of Persia, and all the dark forces that seek to destroy Israel and the righteous. We hoist the name of Jesus Christ above every name, and we declare peace—shalom—over Israel, America, Canada, and even Iran. Yes, even those nations are home to believers longing for deliverance and revival.
The Reality of Spiritual Warfare in Our Nations
We see the chaos: pallets of bricks mysteriously arriving at protests, social media influencers being paid to incite violence, and global unrest fueled by hidden agendas. But we also see the hand of God moving to expose these dark schemes. Truth tellers are rising, and justice will prevail.
I urge you, when you see disturbing news or propaganda, don’t just scroll past. Stop, pray, and declare God’s truth over those situations. Each disturbing headline or social media post is a call to prayer—a divine assignment to stand in the gap with the sword of the Spirit.
We are at a critical hour in human history. This is a battle of righteousness versus wickedness, and it is winner-take-all. But the good news? We are on the winning side. We are standing with God’s truth and His promises.
Justice and Righteousness Must Prevail
Justice is essential. Without justice, there can be no long-term righteousness. We see the consequences of lawlessness everywhere—in our cities, in our governments, and in the spiritual realm. But God calls us to be agents of righteousness. We call for justice to be served on those who sow chaos and destruction, while praying for their repentance and salvation.
We declare that those who curse Israel will be cursed, and those who bless her will be blessed, according to God’s word. We pray for the righteous remnant to rise up in every nation, especially in places like Mexico where calls for insurrection have been made. God’s kingdom is advancing, and His plans cannot be thwarted.
The Difference Between Prayer Time and Communion at the Altar
Now, I want to shift gears and talk about something very close to my heart—the difference between a prayer time and a prayer altar. Many of us are familiar with prayer times: reading scripture, praying, worshiping, journaling. We can measure the success of a prayer time by how much we did, how many scriptures we read, or how long we prayed.
But a prayer altar is different. Success there means breaking through the forces of darkness, encountering God’s presence, and entering into genuine communion with Him.
Communion is not just hearing or reading God’s word. It’s when that word leaps off the page and ignites a dialogue between you and God. It’s a breakthrough in the spiritual realm—a deep encounter where life flows from God into your spirit. When you experience this daily, it becomes an atmosphere you desire to live in.
What Communion Looks Like
Picture a place where you are not alone, but deeply connected—where the Spirit of God fills the room, and you sense His presence tangibly. This is what David longed for in Psalm 42: “As the deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for You, O God.” David’s soul was hungry for communion, not just ritual.
Jesus himself often withdrew to solitary places to commune with the Father. His disciples would search for Him, but He was found in intimate prayer, united as one with God. Jesus said, “I and the Father are one.” And then He told His followers, “You will do the same, and even greater things.”
Communion is a deep personal time with God. It’s an encounter that transforms you and empowers you to walk in His presence daily.
My Personal Encounter: Why Are You So Busy Being Busy?
Let me share a personal story. A couple of years ago, I was working hard on a decree for the nation. I was busy, focused, doing what I thought God had asked me to do. But then God spoke to me, “Why are you so busy being busy? Why don’t you just come and hang out with me for a while?”
I obeyed, and for eight solid hours, God talked to me as I crafted a staff from an old stick in my garage. That staff became a symbol of God’s presence and guidance in my life. It was a profound moment of communion—far beyond just reading scripture or praying a checklist.
God invites us all to come to this place of deep presence. It’s not about how much time you spend, but the quality of your encounter with Him.
The Living Expression: Jesus, the Word Made Flesh
Jesus Christ is the living expression of the invisible God. He is the light that shines in darkness, the source of life for all humanity. Through Him, all things were made, and in Him, we find reconciliation and healing.
Because of what Jesus did on the cross, we can have communion—not just remembering His sacrifice, but experiencing His presence daily. This communion heals the deepest wounds of our souls, reconnects us to our Creator, and empowers us to live in victory.
Why Communion Matters Today
In these times of upheaval and spiritual warfare, we must not settle for surface-level faith. We need to go deeper—into the presence of God where transformation happens. Communion with God strengthens our spirits, renews our minds, and equips us for battle.
Whether you are standing in the trenches of prayer for nations, battling spiritual forces, or simply seeking God’s face, I encourage you to seek this intimate communion daily. It is available to everyone who asks.
Standing on the Promises and Moving Forward in Faith
As we stand with Israel, bless the nations, and engage in spiritual warfare, let us do so with hearts rooted in God’s promises and alive with His presence. Let us put on the full armor of God, stand firm in faith, and live in the peace—shalom—that only He can give.
Remember, God is shaking the heavens and the earth to bring forth His righteous kingdom. We are His servants, called and redeemed by His great power and strong hand. We stand with Him, with Israel, and with righteousness.
So today, I challenge you: let’s stop being busy for God and start being present with God. Let’s move from prayer time t
o prayer altar. Let’s break through the forces of darkness and enter into deep communion with our Creator. The harvest is plentiful, the battle is fierce, but the victory is sure.
May the Lord bless you, keep you, and cause His face to shine upon you. May His peace be upon you as you stand firm in His word and walk in His presence. Amen.
