Today June 13, 2025 at 12:00 pm on OCP Bobby Cleveland and JJ Humphrey will discuss Director Harpe trying to privatize the food service. Rumor is that he was busted falsifying bids and other vendors filed a complaint with OMES . OMES sided against the Director. Can someone tell if the rumors are true Harpe is combining JBCC with OSP? Would someone please inform the Director that has already been tried and resulted in the loss of officers. JBCC Officers quit because they didn’t want to work max security. If Harpe had a relationship with his past and present employees he could learn a thing or two. The last thing DOC needs is for more officers to quit. JJ has been advised that Officers were forced to work a 24 hour shifts. Bob Cleveland introduced a bill HB2545. The bill allows the Director of Corrections to declare an emergency when, due to shortage of staff, correctional officers at a facility are not required to work more than two double shifts in a seven day period. When is Director Harpe, going to follow the LAW? Murders of inmates seem to be an every day event and assaults are just as common. The problem we have all become desensitized to Harpe’s inmate genocide. How can this Director continue to claim he has no officer shortage with officers forced overtime, excessive murders, and assaults on staff?
