Empty Seats Haunt Richardson Hitchins Before George Kambosos Fight

According to Ticket Hub, Richardson Hitchins is struggling to sell tickets for his upcoming bout against George Kambosos. The crazy part is that Africa is from Brooklyn, NY.

Meaning he can't sell in his own backyard. The fight is taking place in Madison Square Garden at the Hulu Theatre. The Hulu Theatre holds 5,400 people. As of June 12, Hitchins has sold 1,600 tickets.

This is terrible. This is worse than Teofimo Lopez and Edgar Berlanga. Hitchins is a pure boxer who's pillow-fisted. He only has seven knockouts with 19 victories. He's not a superstar, much like most American fighters who get a lot of hype.

George Kambosos is a C-class fighter at best. He talks a lot of sh*t, which is a good thing, but his style is boring. If you don't believe me, explain to me why he can't sell tickets in his city.

He's not a draw amongst his own people. Why is that? Bill Haney pulled up at the Hitchins vs Kambosos press conference to help them out with the promotion of the fight.

It didn't work. During the press conference, I noticed that no one was present. When Africa spoke on the mic, there was a noticeable echo. He yelled that he was a real one. If you're a real one, you don't have to announce it.

Why? Because everybody will know it. Being real isn't what you say. Being real is what you do. The undercard reads as follows:

Teremoana Teremoana vs. Aleem Whitfield
Pablo Valdez vs. Cesar Diaz
Nishant Dev vs. Josue Silva
Zaquin Moses vs. Carl Rogers
Adam Maca vs. Rafael Castillo

Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Promotions promote this fight. Eddie did a terrible job promoting this fight. Nobody that I know is watching this fight, let alone know about it.
