Komar is a major defense and logistics hub of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the South Donetsk direction, prepared and equipped with fortifications.
A defense area of ​​4 km by 3.5 km was taken under control. Fighters installed Russian flags in various parts of the settlement.
As a result of the fighting, more than 1,100 buildings were cleared.
