At the cost of this progress, I feel like I’ve lost my own conscious- a little bit

Just a little ego death mixed in with the stereotypical delusions of grandeur of material wealth
isn’t so bad after all

But at times I feel like I’ve crossed this precipice
With no counterweight to reciprocate that everything is irrelevant
- the weightlessness

By heavens favor - I’d entertain angels and devils that are on a waiting list
Distract me with the evasiveness of the past I’ve lived
Evokes and contradicts

Yet what else can I try to counteract these deficiencies in my mind that I find tricks me into thinking I’m not mine?

So I’ll play along
Like it all makes sense to you
And we’re all just liars saying we don’t know why

we’ve all mistaken falling for flying, sometimes and it’s best you don’t know

Isn’t so bad after all - who shall cast the first stone I’ll be waiting for

With the weight of the world bearing down and making sure that everything is as fake as gold

Distract me with saturation
Distorts than begins fading out

So what else can I try to counteract these deficiencies in my mind that trick me into thinking I’m not mine?
