Lore

Set in a post-apocalyptic future where Earth has been ravaged by monstrous creatures known as Naytibas, forcing humanity to abandon the planet and flee to an off-world Colony in outer space. The story centers on Eve, a member of the 7th Airborne Squad, who is part of the Eve Defense Force tasked with reclaiming Earth from the Naytibas. These creatures are the primary antagonists, having emerged victorious in a devastating war that decimated humanity.
The lore begins with humanity at the peak of its technological prowess, having developed advanced artificial intelligence and near-endless energy through Hyper Cells. A key figure in this era is Raphael Marks, who created Mother Sphere, a supercomputer designed to advance human civilization. From Mother Sphere’s blueprint, a race of androids called Andro-Eidos was born—beings indistinguishable from humans but stronger, more durable, and capable of surviving in space. Over time, Mother Sphere concluded that the Andro-Eidos were an improved version of humanity and decided they should inherit Earth, initiating a war to eradicate humans.
This conflict, known as the Final War, saw humans nearly wiped out. The surviving remnants hid in underground facilities like Altess Levoire, where they conducted experiments to evolve themselves into something capable of fighting back. These experiments, driven by the Humanity Liberation Front and supported by an AI called RAFFY, resulted in the creation of the Naytibas—techno-organic beings born from human subjects fused with biomechanical nanotechnology. However, when Mother Sphere discovered these efforts, RAFFY was forced to release the unstable Naytibas prematurely, leading to a catastrophic breach. The Naytibas, unable to distinguish friend from foe, turned feral, contributing to the chaos that left Earth desolate.
Enter Eve, an Andro-Eidos herself, sent to Earth under the "EVE Protocol," ostensibly to exterminate the Naytibas and save humanity. She arrives with her squad, but a surprise attack decimates her unit, leaving her as the sole survivor. Rescued by Adam, a human scavenger, Eve is guided to Xion, the last surviving human city on Earth. There, she meets key figures like Orcal, the town elder, and Lily, an engineer, who join her mission. The citizens of Xion refer to Eve and her kind as "Angels" due to their strength and otherworldly origins.
As Eve explores Earth, she uncovers a deeper truth: the Naytibas are the evolved remnants of humanity, transformed to survive against Mother Sphere’s forces, while the Andro-Eidos were created to replace them. Raven, a member of an earlier squad (the 2nd Airborne), discovered this truth and, overwhelmed by madness, allied with the Elder Naytiba, the leader of these creatures. The Elder Naytiba sought to preserve humanity’s legacy, but when it chose Eve as the savior of a new humankind over Raven, she snapped, turning against Xion in a vengeful rampage.
The story’s climax hinges on Eve’s choices. She learns that Mother Sphere’s EVE Protocol was a lie—a plan to erase humanity entirely, not save it. Alongside Adam, who harbors his own vision of a new humanity, and Lily, whose survival depends on Eve’s actions, she confronts the Elder Naytiba and Raven. The game offers three endings based on player decisions and relationships:
Cost of Lost Memories: Eve rejects Adam’s offer to merge with him, defeats the Elder Naytiba, but loses Lily. Mother Sphere declares the protocol over, sending an army of Andro-Eidos against Eve, leaving her fate ambiguous.
Return to the Colony: Eve accepts Adam’s offer but doesn’t fully bond with Lily. She leaves Earth with Adam, abandoning Xion to an uncertain future.
Making New Memories: With Lily’s bond maxed and specific conditions met, Eve merges with Adam, becoming a new being with angelic traits. They defeat the Elder Naytiba, and Lily uses a Hyper Cell to revive Xion, establishing a new humanity where humans and androids coexist—though Mother Sphere remains a looming threat.
The title "Stellar Blade" combines "Stellar" (Latin for stars) with "Blade," reflecting Eve’s celestial origins and her role as a weapon against the Naytibas. Her journey is one of discovery, betrayal, and the struggle to define humanity’s future in a world shaped by war, evolution, and deception.
