UK spending review_ Big projects prioritised as budget tightens in key areas

The UK’s Chancellor, Rachel Reeves, has unveiled a comprehensive spending review that sets out the Labour government’s financial priorities. Defence, housing, transport, and energy are at the heart of the new strategy, with long-term investment plans spanning the next four years. Day-to-day departmental budgets were also announced for the coming three years. However, the ambitious projects come at a cost.
