A Father Of The Fatherless
Text: Psalms 68

objective: Appreciate the Fathers that resembles the Lord in doing the same as He.

intro:
survey the biblical representation of "the fatherless"
poor, helpless
can you imagine yourself being fatherless?

God as the model Father
1. Is Brave - vv. 1-2, 12
2. Does not tolerate wickedness - v.2, 6
3. Makes the right glad - v. 3
4. Holy and Separate - vv. 5, 8
5. Rewards accordingly - vv. 6, 9, 13, 19
6. Leader - v.7
7. His Word matters to people - v. 11
8. He brings about salvation - He is the Saviour - v. 20

Message/conclusion:
The poor and helpless "fatherless" of the world needs the Lord and people who can be a 'father' to them.
Be thankful for your father who have emulated the Lord in your life.
