Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 EXPERT MODE [Act 2.1] Episode 9 (The Variety Show DX #627)

In this episode of The Variety Show DX, we return from the planet Mira and continue our journey in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33! Last time, we finished up Act I by heading to the Stone Wave Cliffs to grab the swim stone for Esquie. We managed defeat the Lampmaster twice, but before we could leave, Gustave and Maelle were confronted by the Old Man. We fought as hard as we could, but Gustave ended up giving his life to save Maelle and for those who come after. Thankfully, Maelle was rescued at the last moment by our newest party member, Verso, a member of Expedition 0, the First Expedition, who revealed that he, along with Renoir remain immortal as long as the Paintress lives. So, with our tails between our legs, we escaped with Esquie and the rest of the team and return to camp, our first time without Gustave. This time, we check up on Lune, Sciel, and Maelle to see how they're doing after the lost of their good friend. And we will continue fighting to the Monolith while we learn more about the world and why Renoir wants to kill anyone who comes to kill his wife(?). And hopefully we will be able to slay the Paintress so we can then take down Renoir and put an end to the tragic existence that our team lives, I while try to poorly translate French live and parry (hopefully) every attack...
