Solo Camping in a Misty Jungle | Thunderstorm Survival at 2300m Altitude
In this video, I went on a solo camping trip deep into a misty, wet, and wild jungle at 2300 meters above sea level. What started as light rain quickly turned into a heavy thunderstorm, with constant downpour, thunder, and lightning that soaked everything around me.
I had no sleeping bag or blanket—just a small tarp overhead, a flickering fire beside me, and freezing cold air all around. To stay warm, I cooked a simple hot meal and brewed tea using wild thyme and violet flowers I had foraged from the forest.
Due to the fog and the storm, the risk of predators like wolves or leopards was real, so I kept the fire going all night. Finding dry firewood in such conditions was a challenge, but I relied on my bushcraft and survival skills to keep the flames alive.
I had set up my camp near mossy rocks, and the sound of rain dripping from the tarp mixed with the roar of thunder in the darkness. This was one of the most real and challenging nights I've ever spent in the wild—a true test of survival, patience, and connection with nature.
