Commissioners to consider grant request

Traverse City City Commissioners will consider a request for one-million dollars to help fight homelessness in the city. The Northwest Michigan Coalition to End Homelessness is hoping to use the allocation to end Homelessness in the area. That $1 million would be put towards funding gaps for permanent supportive housing. A task force is meeting now with the goal of issuing recommendations in October. David Barr Michigan News Source.
