(18) John 6 vs 44 - 67, It is the Spirit that quickens us !

The idea of eating Christ's flesh and drinking His blood was an abomination to the Jews. Christ was talking spiritually about the Lord's Supper. Also in the feeding of the 5000. His body was broken to feed the 20,000 in the breaking of the bread and they ate and were full. 12 baskets left over. This is the Lord's abundance of His mercy and grace. They people were hungry but could not get past the Old Testament Law. Christ told them and us 2000 years later that it is the Spirit that Quickens Us. We see that in Ephesians 2 as well. The Question is have you been Quickened by the Spirit. My prayer is that the answer is Yes.
