Taiwan really admired Hong Kong for its financial prowess and prosperity! As it got closer to 1997, it really scared Taiwanese people, and we were very worried! The Communist Party was constantly promoting “one country, two systems” and “50 years unchanged,” while also sending that message to Taiwan. It was always a deception! The Communist Party gradually lures you into a trap, slowly changing things step by step.
