Homesteading Shorts: Growing the Weeds

Weed it or don't weed it? You may want to check that plant to see what it's good for--many of them have some use, maybe equal to or better than the ones we commonly plant. And if it springs up all by itself, needing no special care or fertilizing or anything...why complain?
