Jesus Christ is not the Father—He is the eternal Son who perfectly reveals the Father. The twisted idea that Jesus and the Father are the same person, based on John 14:7–11, ignores that Jesus said clearly, "I am in the Father and the Father is in Me," not "I am the Father." The Father and the Son share one divine essence yet remain distinct persons, co-eternal and co-equal, forever united in will and purpose. John 1:1 plainly declares, "the Word was with God, and the Word was God," affirming the Son's eternal deity distinct from the Father. Furthermore, Jesus explicitly distinguishes Himself from the Father when He says He only does what He sees the Father doing (John 5:19). The Trinity is abundantly clear: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are united eternally as One God in Three distinct Persons.

John 14:9-10 – Jesus reveals the Father perfectly but is distinct from Him.

John 1:1 – Jesus, the eternal Word, is distinct from yet fully equal with God the Father.

Matthew 28:19 – Commands baptism in the singular Name of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, affirming their unity and distinction.
