Awaken Biblical Prophecy Commentary – Isaiah’s Woes, Whys, & Therefores

Consequences: one of my favorite words and one the world seems to ignore. Science has a valid description of this phenomenon in the form of Newton’s Third Law of Motion: For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. “This means that when two objects interact, they apply forces to each other that are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction.” When we put this in Biblical terms we get something like: For every action we humans take that oppose God’s will, there are inevitably consequences in direct proportion to that divergence.
