On the eve of the premiere, Nico Parker has gone on the offensive to attack fans critical of her casting as the live action Astrid in How to Train Your Dragon. As she bears little resemblance to the source, Parker has taken the legitimate criticism to heart and lashed out at fans of the original and the source itself.

Her unhinged ramblings will ultimately fail to slow down the momentum of this massive hit in the making, but it will serve as the wedge in the door for studios to besmirch other classics when it's time for them to get the dreaded remake treatment.
