Splitgate 2 Boss Bends the Knee to the WOKE Mob Over a Silly Hat!

Ian Proulx, the CEO of 1047 Games and Creative Director of Splitgate 2 appeared at Summer Games Fest to promote the highly anticipated FPS leaving beta testing and moving into a full release. He made waves with his inflammatory speech, evoking the state of modern gaming and how it had lost its way. As you might expect, the wider public was on Proulx's side, but the journalist class was ready to pounce.

In a self-described publicity stunt, Ian decided to wear a "Make FPS Great Again" hat on the SGF stage, and because that is Orange Man adjacent, the knives came out. Drudging up microtransaction bundles as a veil to critiquing his fashion choices, they cucked him into an apology that will not appease anyone and instead create more enemies than one hat ever could. Well done.
