Slaughter to Prevail X Baby Metal - Song 3 https://youtu.be/KEMVgy51kPE?si=1vWzHKsotpt53gJR I don’t know… maybe this is what I needed in order to have a true appreciation for Baby Metal.

Cold Skin - a lovecraftian horror movie in a different way. Based on the 2002 novel of the same name by Albert Sánchez Piñol, it was released in 2017 in Spain and 2018 in the US. It is now streaming on Tubi. The ocean creatures are the “Lovecraftian” element. The psychology of how the creatures interact with humans is not. Keeping one of such creatures as a sex slave is not how HP would have done this, it kind of detracts from the horror of them.
Frankie Freako - Streaming on Shudder. The trailer promised Beetlejuice meets the Muppets in hell. The movie delivers something that is a pale shadow of that. There is great potential for a classic horror comedy here, but every turn is undermined by an overly juvenile sense of humor, and lack of commitment to the bit, or commitment to what a rated R horror comedy should be in the minds of the target audience.
Speak No Evil - James Mcavoy’s newest horror is streaming on Prime finally. It’s functional as a psychological horror movie, but I understand why it didn’t get muh word of mouth hype. Even going to write this up I nearly forgot the title of the movie. Maybe if it had followed the ending of the original Dutch movie it would have had something to actually say, or maybe been a bit more memorable.
