There's a new sheriff in town. And it shows.

Over the weekend, Catholics were disheartened to see — once again — mosaics from accused predator and laicized priest Marco Rupnik featured on the Vatican News website.

Complaints were lodged online, with the expectation that the Vatican would simply ignore them, as they've ignored such complaints for years.

But with lightning speed, not only was the offending image removed, it seems all of Rupnik's artwork has vanished from the Vatican website.

All of this took place overnight, in a matter of hours, and the only conclusion is that orders must have come from above.

For years we felt as if we were screaming into the void, and no one was listening.

Now, someone is listening.
